Azienda Agricola Aurora is an organic and biodynamic company situated in the territory of Grotte di Castro in the district of Viterbo, in an uncontaminated area surrounded by the magic lake of Bolsena and its beneficial influences.

The Aurora company is Demeter and BioAgriCert certified and has an area of about 100 hectares looked after by specialised people with the utmost respect for the nature, in synergy with every single living organism and in compliance with the lunar phases and the cosmic influences that bring us back to our ancient traditions.

Demeter International is the most sustainable organization that dates back to 1928, named in honour of Demeter the Greek goddess of agriculture and fertility.

It is active in 50 countries worldwide and it is known as the oldest ecological certificated organization. Rudolf Steiner was the founder of the biodynamic approach to agriculture.

Already in 1924 he began noticing declines in the health and fertility of the soil, plants, and animals due to the widespread use of chemical fertilizers.

Our olive groves extend for about 45 hectares, guaranteeing an excellent production of extra virgin olive oil obtained from the cold pressing of Canino, Leccino and Frantoio olives.

The company has its own premises, equipment and mill that are used exclusively for the processing of our olives to guarantee the total absence of contamination and to maintain an excellent quality level.

In order to ensure our customers with a high quality extra virgin olive oil, every year we submit samples of our freshly produced olive oil to several analyses through a specialized laboratory.

Only when the certification has been obtained, our extra virgin olive oil is ready to be sold and enjoyed!
